Welcome to esLists.com
I created esLists.com because it gives me a platform to discuss and celebrate some of the things I love most: entertainment (music and movies) and sports. The ‘e’ and ‘s’ within ‘esLists’ is actually a double entendre. The 1st meaning is for ‘entertainment and sports lists’. The 2nd meaning is using the initials of my name which translates to ‘Eric Sampson lists’.
esLists.com is a self managed blog in which I discuss everything from sports, music, entertainment, tv shows, and movies. I have always had a love for comparing and ranking things based on my opinions I really love (and welcome) the passionate discussions that come with ranking things because there truly isn’t one right answer. Each album, or song, or movie, or sporting event has a unique impact on each person. Most of my blog post topics are ideas that I feel really need further discussion.
About Myself
I am from the Dallas, Texas area so some of my topics are based on Dallas area teams. I graduated from Baylor University in 2013.
I have a very deep love for a variety of music types. Over the years, I have grown to truly love the composition of how music is created. I also have a deep appreciation of music producers because they truly don’t get the credit they deserve in modern music. I use my music related blog posts to draw attention to some of the lesser known details about a song, artist, or project.
I also have a very deep love for sports. I have live in or near the Dallas-Fort Worth area for my entire life so I am (slightly) biased to the Mavericks, Cowboys, and Rangers. Much of my sports related blog posts deal with the discussion of sports events or players.
I really hope when you read my posts you feel inclined to leave comments to continue the discussion. I love hearing alternate opinions to my own.
